So far this week, every night has meant a wolfed-down dinner, then overtime (a bit too much more of it each time — I’m up to five hours now), followed by a trudge home propelled by my iPod (get well soon, Steve Jobs), and ending with aimless doddering around the cold, cold apartment. Rinse through sleep, and repeat. And so it goes.
Three great discoveries this week in spite of all that:
- There’s an Ootoya in Hong Kong! (Was introduced to its pleasures at Sunroute Hotel in Taipei, where I stayed over Christmas.)
- There’s someone like Myron Rolles on God’s green earth. Awesome.
- There’s only a few more days before the Obama Era arrives.
