What I like about the US

The great thing about the United States is that its guests can ascend to a global platform on its very own turf and then with great alacrity start trash talking about its Big Leader at will:

From the podium of the General Assembly, the Venezuelan leader said he smelled lingering sulfur, left by President Bush, who had spoken there the day before and whom he branded “the devil.”

“The devil came here yesterday,” Chavez said, referring to Bush’s address on Tuesday and making the sign of the cross. “He came here talking as if he were the owner of the world.”

If you hafta watch the video, feel free to do so (the great thing about the Internet). But of course the best thing that’s come out of this is the publicity given to one of Noam Chomsky’s books!
