Going off on an almost-round-the-world trip tomorrow afternoon. A little nervous, having never been to the Americas, but may God’s will guide my path.
Will do darndest to make the Sunrise Easter service at 6.30 a.m. — should be quite an experience! Unless it rains? Even so. Yet to pack, yet to finish up drudge work! Bought too many and too few Muji bottles! Those things are addictive!
Will attempt to write as I travel, will be interesting to see how that pans out. Last and only time I tried it, to intriguing results, was during That First Concert of 14 November ’02. Teehee. Haiyah.
Been thinking about the love that God has for us, that led to Him sending his only begotten Son to die on the cross for our iniquities. Read a bit of John Sung on Abram’s ultimate willingness to sacrifice his own son, Isaac, in obedience to God, and I came to the suspicion that maybe, just maybe, we were all given a huge leg up by that honest evidence of love of and trust in and devotion to God above all, right there. Though of course God would’ve known all that had happened, was happening and was gonna happen, but in that very moment in time, us humans had a good bit, though terribly painful bit, going for us after all. Hallelujah. A good Easter to all.
