Happy it’s a new year

I’m back from Taipei! Yes, I miss it already, at least a wee bit, especially how people whip out books instead of video games on trains, and generally seem more genteel, yet earthy.

More on all that to come — I must now use the energy gathered from the hot springs of Wulai to start off this new year in good order. May 2008 turn hate to love, and small seeds of imagination to great endeavours.
